Objectives

• The major purpose of the program is to make people trained in numerous skills so that they can become financially strong and employable.
• The skill development program is also aimed to increase productivity of existing workforce and certify and train them as per industry requirements.
• Provide Monetary Awards for Skill Certification to boost productivity and employability of youth by incentivizing them for skill training.
• Provide an average monetary reward of Rs. 8,000/- per applicant to the beneficiary who is experiencing skill training.

Main features of PMKVY Yojana

• The training under PMKVY is provided based on the standards (QPs and National Occupational Standards – NOS for specific job roles) denoted by the industry-driven bodies, namely SSCs.
• The skill training is given based on assessment of the ‘Skill Gap Studies and skill demand
• Government will offer training aligned with the national flagship programmes such as National Solar Mission, Swachch Bharat, and Digital India, Make in India and so on.
• The training providers will undergo the due diligence as per the guidelines of PMKVY issued by NSDC before being registered to offer training to the youth. This will make certain the good quality of training.
• The training curricula also involves good work ethics, soft skill training, personal grooming, and behavioral change for cleanliness.
• Trainees with prior experience and skills will be assessed and provide monetary rewards for undergoing the assessment.

• Monetary rewards will be given upon successful training to the beneficiaries as per their job roles. Higher incentives will be provided to training in plumbing, manufacturing, and construction sectors.

• The monetary reward amount will be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary without any intermediaries. This will provide transparency to the system and fasten the whole method. Aadhar number of the beneficiary will be utilized for unique identification.
• The government also offer support to the applicants who are looking for employment opportunities and have successfully completed the training.

Short Term Training Guidelines

This Training is primarily designed for Indian youth who are either school /college dropouts or unemployed.

Objective of the Short Term Training

• The chief motive of this program is to mobilize and enable a large number of youth to take up industry designed quality skill training and become employable and earn a livelihood.
• Train the existing workforce to align skill training and enhance productivity with the actual needs of the country.
• This program aims at standardization of the Certification process and set up a foundation for a registry of skills.

PMKVY Register Online 2021

The benefits that are provided to you through this scheme are as follows:-

Training is given to the youth for different fields, so that they can get good employment in future.

Through this scheme you are given training in 40 areas like Electronics, Hardware, Construction, Furniture, Food Processing, Fitting, Handicraft, Gems and Jewellery etc.

 For the next 5 years, the youth are provided education and training for entrepreneurship under this scheme.

 You are given employment as per your wish and training is also given for that.

For this scheme, 10th, 12th and students who had left their studies in the middle can avail this benefit.

Eligibility Criteria for PMKVY Registration 2021

Students who are 10th pass, 12th pass or who have left their studies in the middle can apply for this scheme and get skills.

Those who have left college or school in the middle, they should have complete knowledge of both Hindi and English language.

Only those unemployed youth can register under this scheme, who do not have any employment and do not have any source of income.

It is mandatory for you to be a permanent resident of India for this scheme.

By aggregating all the unemployed youth in any field, skill education is provided to them.

Under this scheme, training centers have also been opened in different areas, so that you can get training.

The purpose of this scheme is to provide free training through this scheme for people who do not have money for tanning and are unemployed.
