Punjab Smart Ration Card Scheme 2021 Important features and highlights

• In Punjab, 1.41 crore is the total number of beneficiaries of Smart Rashan Card plan.
• Eldest Woman will be family head.
• Wheat will be given at Rs. 2/- per Kg price.

 Types Punjab Smart Ration Card

Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY)

Under the AAY plan, the beggarly among the BPL families are permitted. The beneficiaries under the AAY will get necessary commodities of 35-40 Kg for a pretty low price as in comparison to the local market.

Priority Household (PHH)

Under the PHH plan, the families above the BPL do apply. There is also an income slab to apply to this plan. We will notify you as the number of necessary commodities is available.

Essential Eligibility for Punjab Ration Card

• The beneficiary must be from the Punjab state.
• To apply for the Scheme, It is compulsory to have the Aadhar Card of the beneficiary.
• The beneficiary or the head of the family must have an account in the bank.
• To register for the plan, the beneficiary must have a passport size photo of the family and some basic paper work reveal out their age.
• The beneficiary applying for the plan do have only one ration card. If there is a ration card on her/his name, initially they have to surrender the card and then apply to the fresh ration card.

The Smart Ration Card 2021 Essential Documents Required

• Address Proof – Residential certificate,Aadhar Card, Telephone, Water, Electricity Bill
• Rent Receipt for the candidate leaving on Rent.
• Surrender Certificate must be provided from transfer from one city to another.
• The previous ration card is to be attached to the supporting document as In case of surrender of the ration card.
• For the candidate working in the private/government firm certificate of residence address and the total number of the family members to be provided.
• For individuals working in Registered Industrial Institutions –Residence certificate and number of members by Institutional Head or Reporting Officer
• For Urban Area students – Certificate for taking residential and education address by Institutional Head
• Two passport-sized pics of the head of the family and one passport size photo of the family.
• The PAN Card is to be given by the Family Head.

NFSA Punjab Ration Card Scheme 2021

1. 1.42 Crore is the total number of beneficiaries.
2. Family with eldest woman age 18 years or more will be considered head of house and issued ration card.
3. The wheat price will be distributed among the beneficiaries at Rs 2/kg rate.
4. The Biannual entitlement of wheat will be provided at one go.
5. based on Aadhar, the beneficiary is re-duplicated.
6. The distribution is under the NFSA and if the consumer does not get his entitlement, they can directly approach the Consumer Court to complain.
7. The wheat delivery will be done in standard packing of 30kg.
8. There will be no upper cap in the plan as every family member will receive wheat of 5KG.

In what way to apply for the Punjab Ration Card 2021

Through Online Medium

• the candidate supposed to visit the official portal of the page of the Authority @ punjab.gov.in.( To avail for the ration card)
• Now, do click on the Citizen login on the page.
• If you haven’t registered, do click on the New User Link.
• After registration is successful, the candidate has to update the profile by entering basic information about them.
